Our Mission
McKinley Early Childhood Center – West Akron provides high-quality childcare and early education for families in the West Akron community. As part of the McKinley family, this location offers a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported, valued, and excited to learn.
We serve infants through Pre-K, offering full-day care designed to meet children where they are developmentally while helping them build confidence, independence, and strong early learning skills.

- Care for infants, toddlers, preschool, and Pre-K
- Hours of operation: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Meet Our Director
Ms. Brittany
Center Director – West Akron
Hello! I’m Ms. Brittany, and I am the Director at McKinley Early Childhood Center – West Akron. I have been part of the McKinley family since 2012 and have truly enjoyed working with and supporting children and families throughout my time here.
Before stepping into the Director role, I spent several years as a preschool teacher, which gave me a strong foundation in early childhood education and classroom leadership. That experience helps guide my approach today—I understand the importance of high-quality learning environments, strong teacher-child relationships, and meaningful family engagement.
I am a firm believer in community growth, improved learning opportunities for all children, and building strong families through partnership and communication. The most rewarding part of my role is working alongside our dedicated staff and getting to know the children and families who make our center such a special place.
